I seen them on this tour and Gary fit just fine!

@FarmGuy4020 Search for "Somebody get me a Doctor" during their 1998 tour and there's at least 1 video of Michael singing the whole thing on lead vocals.
-
gary has a good voice but it just doesn't fit somehow

Very interesting comment about Anthony's vocals, if you listen to the old demos with Gene Simmons, his voice was great, hit all the highs, and rock solid on back up vocals. Eddie could hold a note too, but Michael gave a ton of support to Dave's weaknesses.

ED LOST ALL CREDABILITY W WOLFIE ON BASS..BIG FAT MONEY WILL FUCK UP YOUR HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Ed turned into a waste when Sammy finally balls'd up and left the band, and after that they haven't been the same. None of the singers can sing any of the others' music at all, the chemistry was by far the best with Hagar, you can NOT deny that or you're an idiot, the music was good with all of them except Cherone (in my OPINION) but you guys can like whatever Van Halen you want, I'm just saying it's not the same anymore and it never will be.

What the hell is Michael doing in Chicken Foot? Just listen to the backing vocals on the old VH albums for Gods sake!
-
Mike is a good singer, the only song I can find with him singing any part is in Why Can't this be love with Gary...

Personally, I think they should have promoted Mike to singer and that would be that. The best voice they ever had is now in Chickenfoot.... and I'm not talking about Hagar.
