@elbarto643 how ae rabbits like both cats & dogs? do rabbit cages smell?
-
@GirlyRockShow . my rabbit chew on everythin that he can, what I usually do is make a "pss" noise every time he gets near one and move him away from whatever he chews on, it took some time for him to pick it up but now whenever he wants to chew something he shouldn't I "pss" on him and he goes away and play somewhere else, also the sprays for animals not to chew on the furniture is useful. Hope it helped :)

I also have a question. My room has wooden beds and dressers. Do you think my rabbit will chew on it? If so, what do I do about it cuz I can't get rid of my bed lol.

This was a GREAT video. Now I'm planning to let my bunny be free roaming in my room and when I come back from school let her out into the whole house ;-)

theyre just like puppies lol

@bruintran The house will not develop a smell unless the people owning the house (and rabbit) are lazy and do not clean after the rabbit -- just like having cats, or dogs, or any other animal, actually. If you don't clean up the waste, yeah, it'll smell. I, for one, spot clean my rabbit's litter box every day with a full change every 2 - 3 days, and I have not had one problem with "a distinct smell." Rabbits are actually very clean animals naturally, so, really, you are just poorly educated.

@bruintran I have three house rabbits, all of which roam my house freely. They are all litter boxed trained and in no way do they smell up my apartment. One cat with a litter box can smell up an entire house. A dog can literally reek after one trip outside. My rabbits stay inside and groom themselves and each other constantly. They smell great. They might smell bad if you neglect their litter or don't potty train them, but these are human errors. Rabbits are amazing pets!

@bruintran I will delete my bad comments about you. Again, excuse me for my strict tone...

@bruintran Again I am sorry for my tone but I haven't read the rest of your comments, just the first one:-(
The hay seems really good bravo!Since i live in Greece, I do not know this company. Please let me know how much protein and fibres it has and i will tell you if it is good or not.
Remember that a food for rabbits should have less proteins and more fibres!
I will send you some links from house rabbit society to get more informed, although you seem to know a lot about them:-)
I understand that this video is trying to place rabbits in a positive light for the purpose of encouraging people to consider the possibility of adopting one, but it should really come straight with the facts because, ultimately, it's not just about advertising these animals as pets- but about attracting people who will want these pets even though they have a full understanding of the associated cons. I can't imagine having a house rabbit without the house eventually developing a distinct smell.

@bruintran you can't "imagine?" So you are basing it on that dogs don't smell or get dirty? Cats don't tear up furniture and coat everything with fur? All animals have pros and cons. While this is a simple student video i made almost 10 years ago, the purpose is to show they are pets like any other animal, so if you buy one, don't keep it in a cage.
