Michael Portillo looks into the prospects of the Conservatives being in government in 2010, and how difficult it will be to convince the idiot New Labour voters that the UK economy REALLY is in a bad way, and that they should NOT expect to be kept in luxury on benefits*.

* The poorest of the poor don't know how to fiddle the system so they are not relevant to this argument, and I don't begrudge the pittance they get.

  • You're right. Even if the Conservatives didn't get an overall majority, there is no way the Lib Dems could form a coalition with this discredited government. Cameron will almost certainly be PM.

  • hahahah even Portillo says the Tories can t make cuts. The simple fact is if they don t raise National insurance they will raise VAT. Yes you can blame Labour for not regulating the banks but the idea of de regulating the banks was Tory. The tories spell disaster for the country
