Ford Mustang 289 yes, but also 302, 351 windsor, 351 cleveland, 390, 428, 429 Plenty of options there. plus never stopped selling, unlike camaro which died in 2002. its obvious, if one is gonna fall, its gonna be the one that already fell once.

@ozzyrrv420 ford and chevy both had 427's...but look around and you will clearly see fords 427 was out and on the streets long before chevy had their 427 ..compare both ford and chevy's 427 for 65 and you will see the ford 427 has more tq..so tell me now who copied who??...no one copied anyone...chevy and jeep both had 327's..but nothing in commom at all..ford and studebaker both had 289;s..but absolutely nothing in common ..sorry kid..no one copied , thats just the way it is

@ozzyrrv420 ford and packard both had 352's and each were different..ford and pontiac both had 428's..ford and caddy both had 429's..ford chevy , pontiac, buick and olds all had 400's but they were all different ..GMC had a 351 v6 ford had a 351 v8 ,,2 completely different motors ..ford and chevy both had 292's ,,ford v8 to chevys 6..ford amc and caddy all had 390's but all are different ..just cuzz they had the same size motor doesnt mean anyone copied..thats so stupid

@ozzyrrv420 it doesnt happen often but there are chevys out there with ford motor like the camaro that was on pinks with a 460 ....so tell me what did ford copy?..you do realize ford had the 302 out in 1968 right?..and all ford did was take the 289 and increase the stroke..and i believe chevys 302 was made from a 327 block with the crank of a 283 ..just because 2 different car companys have the same size motor does not mean they copied off each other..this has been going on for years

@390merc65 right but i never seen some one put a ford engine in a chevy but i see fords with chevy engines all the time. you can say im blind all you want the reason you say that is your a blind ford cheerleader and when your the ones copying you act like it dont happen 302 was in a camaro 3 years before being in a mustang but yea i guess ford never used a 302 since they dont copy and the reason i like chevy is cause they produce more hp and that is a fact all u have to do is look up hp rating

@ozzyrrv420 you are a fucking blind chevy boy...great another chevy cheerleader ..ford [DID NOT] steel anything from chevy ..if you had any brain cells left you will clearly see the ford 427 was made out of the ford F,E engines they had at the time..it has the same stroke as the ford 390 of the day but with a much larger bore size..no copy of chevy at all..ford ,caddy and amc all had 390's but not one were a copy of each other..ford and mopar had 360's..no copying at all..
