slow motion sparring to learn precision and body control and to give time to apply proper footwork and movements in a sparring like setting. The slow speed also helps to calm things down and allow students to try things they have not yet been able to apply in regular sparring.

  • @maeljin Main problem with that is that you don't really want to be rythmic, just slow. Rythmic fencing is predictable and is a bad habit to acquire.

  • ever thought about adding a metronome to help keeping the same speed? :)
