@john03ification Uh no he didn't.
I just watched it and I didn't hear any cussing.

At 2:11 a guy said I don't know honey they take sweetheart crap you know

All joking aside, I can't help but wonder if this reflects Jim Henson's relationship with his staff. (Mr. Henson was of course the voice of Ernie.) And whatever idea the great Mr. Henson had, his staff had to bow to it, even if it sounded strange. If JH wanted something, his staff had to give it to him.

Wow just to find out what time it is

@1:45 Ernie sings: "O Solo Mio" off-key
-
Funny...I'm watching this video and it's 3 am over here...

Bert looks like he is bald when he is lying down with his back to us.
-
I wonder if anyone was "lonely"? (Matchbox 20 joke)

@PTH4Fun Whatever.

The idea of the light switch being across the room for the lamp is not uncommon. It is so the person can walk into the room and turn on the light immediately. Also, they didn't have digital glow in the dark clocks and watches back then.
At least Bert's in good company, all the other neighbors can't sleep either.

Yeah, that's hysterical. And look at Bert at the end. All you can see are his eyes staring above his blanket, and yet that alone is enough to tell he is thinking like "I can't possibly be awake right now. This has got to be a bad dream. Someone wake me up!"
