@yummieyummie123 If you are a complete person with your own identity and personality and likewise I have my own, it's a matter of finding someone someone I work well with, not playing some "role." I have traits of Claire and Beyonce (though they aren't that different really) and whoever else. Same thing for men too.

I think it's more about we as a people need to be comfortable with ourselves as individuals AND with the opposite sex. Help each other. I don't know ONE person who can do it all by them self. There were many times Claire needed her husband's help and he took care of things she usually did sometimes, and vice versa. They abandoned "roles" and did whatever they had to do to make their household work and loved and respected each other and recognized their "flaws". Fuck "roles."

So... as a woman my roles are either to be Claire or Beyonce? I know what you are trying to say but women come in all types. I'm not down for playing a role, and don't think I should "know my role". Why am I expected to be in one, let alone those two?
I'm not into this black men ain't shit black women are perfect or whatever, but damn. "Claire" and "Beyonce" as characters overlap so I don't know what's up with your argument. Only dif. is that one is made up and the other doesn't have kids.
real talk....BLK miss slavery. the black woman dont know where to place her energy no more. So the BLK-man is the perfect outlet...
