Sort of a tribute to the characters that make up the three couples of the show : Luke x Beginner, Zaha x Shiru and Mondo x Rokuna.
A few notes on the scenes chosen to accompany "where my failings are forgiven" :
Beginner's failing is her weakness at summoning, the depicted scene shows her apologizing for summoning a baby dragon away from its family. The ones for forgives her is the father dragon.
Luke's failing is his arrogance, in this case it caused him to endanger lives by summoning a monster he could not control in order to show off and threaten Mondo. The one who forgives him is Mondo.
Shiru's failure was initially that she did not manage to reach Zaha in her brother's stead, who in the mean time wrecked havoc in innocents, that's rather hard to depict so i showed Lark's departure there. It ties back into her actual weakness in that she crops up her personal bothers, but that's even harder to depict. The one who forgives/probably never blamed anyone is Lark.
Zaha's failure is ... a lot that really can't be show properly in a few seconds, so I only showed the point where Shiru forgives him.
Rokuna's failure is another tricky one : she is lonely after her mother left (for the western audience : said mom left cause she wasn't getting enough "attention" from Ichirobei) and clings to Mondo almost obsessively and always relies on him. Nobody in particular forgives her but herself, when she overcomes it.
Mondo's failure is not that he failed to protect his friends, but that he holds it against himself when he fails them to the point of trying to things he can't do or alternatively, but I went with Kahimi's departure anyway since that's the best visual.

The first save the Fairyland scene is So Cute
While the Cold scenes are so beautifully interpreted
