McCain campaign distances itself from Phil Gramm

Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) distanced itself from economic adviser Phil Gramm's claim that America is "a nation of whiners" that is just in a "mental recession." The McCain campaign said "Phil Gramm's comments are not representative of John McCain's views."

McCain can "distance" himself all he wants, to fact remains that his economic "knowledge", as limited as it is, represents Phil Gramm, one of the chief political gurus of Reaganomics.

And isn't one of his remaining advisors the guy who authored the "Reaganonics" book "The 32,000 Dow"? Hacks galore. But The Club For Growth and the AEI and Grover Norquist, and all those lobbyists, just love it.
