It is intersting, but I would say it shouldn't be something we base people off of. We know serena and venus NOW for their huge serve huge groundstrokes and untouchable grass court play. We should praise Li Na not just for being an Ethnic minority in tennis but for her LOVELY backhand down the line and her persistence not cause shes asian.

Agreed, especially because Asian ethnicity is actually the overwhelming majority in the world (Chinese alone are more than half the world, thus the majority) while whites are actually the minority. We haven't even factored in blacks, latinos, natives, etc.

However, im not saying that you have to be taking those risky shots every single time to be considered a power player, on the other hand, you also can not be a power player just giving denfensive balls. What determines a pusher, is the frequency of balls returned is either a defensive ball or a offensive ball. If a player returns the ball mostly defensively and seldom goes for those shots, the player is considered a pusher, and vice versa.
