This is a new version of my transcription on Mirage by OP. I was in a better shape than the first time who was also my first video recording for youtube, I guess I was a little nervous...
Enjoy !

  • @IvannJazz

Thank a lot for your kind comment ! For the transcription as I said to another youtube fan I don't have it because it would have taken too much time to write it and by chance I have a good musical memorie so ... sorry !

    Take care

  • Very impressive!

Let me ask you one question:

How come you are not playing 10ths in the "double tempo" stride part?

Im a pianist myself aged 17 i´m very privledged as im a born with a huge hand, able to reach a 12th.

I just think that the stride part gets much more filthy and soulfull to listen to with 10ths instead of octaves.

I´ve made a rendition of mirage as well playing huge intervals between the bass note and the chord in the stride section. So difficult, but so fun too!

  • @MrAx10 Hi thanks for your kind comment... As you said you're a lucky guy to have this kind of hand like Oscar indeed ! For myself I can't play 10ths in this kind of speed, it's physicaly impossible ! So I play octaves...

I would love to see your rendition ! Put it on youtube !
