Samsung Captivate - Visual Voice Mail with Google Voice!

Here is how to get visual voicemail on the samsung captivate using google voice! It is a free service provided by google!

www.google.com/voice

signup for a google voice account, they will give you a real working phone number!

install the Google Voice Application on the Android Market for free

when you setup it will ask if you want to use google voice as your primary voicemail account, choose yes!

it will also transcribe your voicemail to text so you can read them before you actually listen!

@MissLeigh429 thanks haha. as for the incoming and outgoing calls, It uses the default dialer on the phone, so when you want to use google voice to make a call you need to enable that setting inside google voice's app settings it will ask if you want to always use google voice to make calls or only for calls outside usa.

and i have a suggestion maybe do a tutorial on like incoming and outgoing calls and text messages i was wondering what that looked like cause thats the only thing i cant seem to find. please and thank you.
