We were the first band to play in this "battle of the bands" and we got on stage only to find that all the wires for our guitars, mics, etc had been switched around during the other bands' sound checks. Nothing was where it should have been, it was dark, and the sound man clearly didn't want to get up and help us! So Jordan played "bumble boogie" while Jesse tried to sort out the wires... then he joined in with Jordan, improvising on guitar (which, as you can hear, was set too loud!). It sucks being at the mercy of a sound guy who doesn't care (he said he only had a few hours sleep the night before and that being a sound guy used to be fun 20 years ago but not any more!).
For anyone who wants to know the judges' opinions on the performers - Gravis came first, Amber Malone came second, and Resisting Gravity came third.
Held at Barrington Arena, May 30th, 2008. A fundraiser hosted by the Rosalind Nickerson Care Fund, a charity that gives money to cancer patients in the Yarmouth area.

That, I must say, is an impressive way to buy some time. Ridiculously good job, you guys. =D
