@skoshabmosha use a different method for your horses. This is not the gospel of horse training, just some ideas. I give my horses a bunch of rein because my goal is to use very little rein and ultimately to drop my hand all together when they cut a cow so I am not real concerned where my hands are when I am pulling around on a horse. watch the video again and you will notice a training fork that the reins run through so the contact point stays consistent regardless of my imperfect hands
I'd like to see more on this, the Roll back. Also other small basic training in the saddle (side pass, getting a strong whoa, cantering for the first time, etc)
