@poorsillyboy The USAF eventually released the SR-71's operational sealing to be between 80000 and 90000 feet. If that is what was said officially one can only wonder what the true limits are. At that altitude over 90% by mass of the Earths atmosphere is below the plane. Truly mind boggling.

@poorsillyboy that's not true. It was just a reconassaince plane with some stealth-like features, but not a superjet, spaceplane or something. why nobody still don't get it and believes in myths?!

sigh it seems that you know a bit about what your talking about....but people arent gunna take you seriously using childish terms for an Aircraft....and besides nothing is perfect but the stealth maintenence you say takes so long was the old Stealth found in the F-117 and older B-2 and B-1 models as of 2011 they can pretty much sheer it off (outer skin) and replace it on the B-2's and for the raptor they dont even need to do that

@luke88martin I am inclined to respect your opinion,however those pilots would pilot something with the propeller if they dared say something bad about the F 22 Craptor.It is not the military that sanctions the needs of the DOD but the contracted companies with ties to Washington DC.Believe one thing ,Stealth it is extremely difficult to maintain in a conventional aircraft,,,,,,because of the shape,propulsion system and the conventional speed it achieves.Same thing with F35.It is a disaster too.

i also think it may be better in terms of stealth but not in the manuverability aspect (kindda like the YF-23). i dont know you do have a few valid points and im willing to take you seriously....but most people will not if you keep calling it the Craptor....that just sounds really stupid and childish
