Trucker leaves Trans Canada landing on Berrys Mills road

This trucker fell asleep at the wheel , traveling on the Trans Canada highway truck went into median landing down on the Berrys mills highway that leads into Moncton.
Trucker was taken to hospital. Happened around 6am
this morning . The truck is from Centerville NB

@dueltruck700 Good point and I would do the same but not everyone will risk a job in todays economy. Espically if the driver lives paycheck to paycheck and/or has kids to feed. Sad but true, people will push the limits!

if i get tired i pull off. id rather be late then dead. fired or not..no company is going to look down on you for pulling over and saving lives rather then push on and kill people possibly

@Newschaser It was a Freightliner. It is only a guess as to what happened, but I saw a truck run off the road and landed about a 100 yards down into a ditch because the driver was chokeing on food. He is lucky to survive this. I drove for a while, and found it is one of the most dangerous jobs out there. I hated it, but many love it.

@weshiebert1 do you know how stressful being a operator of these machines is? have you? just because one driver falls asleep at the wheall and runs off of the road does not mean that they are stupied, maybe you are for trolling?
