Many people think that because they prayed a prayer, walked an aisle once in their life, and/or raised their hand when all the heads are bowed because their "autonomous" emotions convinced them to at a certain point in time that they are saved even though they live as worldly and carnal as everyone else in the world. My question is "When do we just start saying that if a person continues in unbelief, worldliness, and carnality regardless of what they did at a point in time then the are unbelieving, a worldling, and carnal? Do we really need votes that much as to forsake their soul?" We need preachers like Paul Washer; not politicians behind pulpits.

@Stefanasha God has used angered, as shown in the prophets and in New Testament, as a means for biblical repentance. The bible teaches that believers are to be angry.

I take offense at this because my dad's life was dramatically changed 30 years ago after he walked down an isle and 'prayed a prayer.' HE prayed, GOD changed his life and our entire family! On the flip side, I actually have NEVER heard anyone tell me that they are saved because once a long time ago walked the isle and said a prayer when their lives are not demonstrating it. It is up to us to spread the gospel; it is between each person and God whether they truly trusted in Him.
