I think the difference between Preemo and Pete Rock is that... Preemo chops his samples up into 2-second pieces while Pete Rock will use the whole loop. And the sample base is different. This is DEFINITELY a Pete Rock type sample... He prefers to sample jazz, while Preemo tends to sample a lot of soul and soundtrack music. Both are dope though... And they both got them DRUMS! Good drums don't exist in rap anymore.
