  • @PierFrancescMicciche It's not the same, but a separate work. It was written at 1968. As it's religious, it was banned in Soviet Union after premiere, so the first recording is from 1992 (on Arvo Pärt's CD "Collage").

  • What's that awful high frequency component in the 15.5 kHz range? It's very unpleasant. Otherwise, lovely piece.

  • This is absolutely horrifying; very nice.

  • Tõnu Kaljuste is really the best interpreter of Pärt's choir music.

  • Pärt's testimony against the more irrational movements in modern music, just before he turned to the minimalist style of his Te Deum and Magnificat.

  • I remember performing this 5 years ago. Even performing it was chilling.
