over the dark, black steppe, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
the bay trots flashing by, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
the trotting bay that makes, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
my sweetheart’s braids bounce, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
into the heat-hazy thin steppe, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
the bay trots vanishing away, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
the trotting bay that makes, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj
the tiny darling's braids sway, oh dyngyl, dyngyldaj

No, the Flecktones do not always have guest artists. However, Alash will join the Flecktones again for 14 shows in December.

This is a blend of the English Christmas carol "What Child Is This?" and the traditional Tuvan song Dyngyldai.
