JONA

When Jona died from AIDS
in Tel Aviv at the age of sixty five
no one knew that at the end of W W two
Jona came out of the closet
in a pink dress with two golden braids
not knowing whether he was a boy or a girl.
Jona had his hair crew cut.
Learned to piss standing up.
Went to a hooker and
came back knocked out.
Then his body and soul full of hope
he reached the shores of the Holy Land
and went back to the closet and never
left it again.
