Chelation therapy, EDTA, has been around since the
1930's. It was used by the Navy to chelation heavy metal poisoining from the sailors who painted ships. The main uses for chelation therapy is to bind free radicals attached to the blood vessels and for heavy metal poisoning.

EDTA is FDA approved as a food and blood preservative. It is very safe and is also used in baby food. 500,000 patients have received 10,000,000 treatments without a single fatality.

Hydrogen peroxide is a bio-oxidative therapy that can be administered orally or by intravenous drip. These treatments can help to oxidize toxins, kill bacteria and viruses, and help to improve the immune system.

Hydrogen peroxide IV treatments have a long history going back to WWI, when they used to treat a pneumonia epidemic. In the 1940's Father Richard Wilhelm promoted these treatments and founded the "Educational Concern for Hydrogen Peroxide" or ECHO.

Nobel Prize winner Dr. Charles Farr has shown that hydrogen peroxide stimulates enzymes in the body, thus causing the arteries to dillate and increases the flow of blood. Nobel Prize winner Dr. Otto Warburg demonstrated that the cancer cell does not need oxygen. Thus these treatments help to supply additional oxygen to the cell to ward off cancer. The IOMA, Internaltional Oxidative Medicine Association, lists doctors who are trained in this procedure.

Myers Cocktails are given intravenously in the doctor's office. They contain magnesium, calcium, vitamin C, and the B complex. I had have several treatments and always felt better after the procedures and could at least get off the couch when I was so very sick.

These types of procedures can be given at the doctor's office. One is usually in a room with other people having the same procedure. One sits in a comfortable recliner and has an IV attached with a pole, which allows movement if needed. The procedure can take from 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the IV drip. One is free to talk, watch tv or read during the procedure.

Unfortunately, most insurance will not cover this, but I think that it can be a lifesaver to those who are really weak and sick. This procedure is usually done by alternative doctors.

The only side effect that I ever had was bruising due to the placement of the IV, which is quite common with any IV procedure. If I were very sick, I would do these procedures in a heartbeat, as I find them to be very effective!
