Be sure to look for Part II of Woodlawn Cemetery where we will be visiting some more politicians final resting place, along with several business magnates, and others.

  • How can a person R.I.P. with all you people coming in here?Go away already!

  • @majorl311 Well I understand your concern. But let me just explain that when I visit the cemeteries to photograph, or video record the gravesites. I'm not desecrating them in any way. The hobby is purely a way for me to interpret history, and showcase who's buried there. To be honest if I've had positive feedback from the people who work in the cemeteries I visit.

  • @GraveHunterGuy I know I was just kidding around about it!I was trying to be the ghost, they probably like the company!

  • @majorl311 It's cool.

  • Woodlawn has beautiful large family crypts of noted Detroit retailers auto makers musicans etc The section where Edsel Ford is is beautiful with the pond in the center [ section11? not sure] I knew Ruffin and Levi Stubbs were at Woodlawn-- I used to visit as a tree hunter and of course appreciate the majesty of these old cemeteries - I prefer walking thru them though!

  • @roselandalvin Woodlawn is a great place to go graving in. There are countless captains of industry buried there from the auto world, and retail. Not to mention the countless Motown musicians buried there. Rosa Parks the grandmother of the civil rights movement is there as well. I've taken a few friends of mine on private tours there.
