  • @LovelysInstinct ~ Hey I'm just now seeing your response. I can't remember if I dehydrated my nails or not, (I wanna say I did) it was so long ago but I will make sure I do that the next time I practice with them. I do plan on going to the Nail Tech Networking Event of the Smokies since it’s a NAILS ONLY event. And Premiere Birmingham for sure since it’s in my area. How about you?

  • @CarnitaLynn I won't be at the Smokies event but I do have Orlando, Bronner Brothers, Birmingham, and hopefully Cosmoprof lined up this year. I know the Bronner Brothers show won't have any nails for real but I need to check out some hair stuff.

  • I just received an order from thme last week. I hope I'm able to apply them to my own nails. Have you tried Minx? If so, which product do you like better and why? Have you tried them on natural nails? Thanks!

  • @CarnitaLynn Hey there! I haven't tried Minx but they do have a lot of cute designs that I wouldn't mind trying:-) Sheekee on natural nails works really well on natural nails, I haven't tried it on enhancements yet. When I do try Minx I will definitely let you know the difference:-)

  • @LovelysInstinct ~ Okay I tried Sheekee and I don’t like them. I will say this was my first time applying them so I don't know if it was me or the product. I put them on my natural nails and they were peeling before the end of the day. I'm sure they will work well with acrylics especially if you encapsulate them. I guess I can practice with them before I get the Minx kit. I'm glad I got the ones that were on sale just to try them out.

  • @CarnitaLynn I'm sorry they didn't work for you. hmm, since they were peeling before the end of the day do you think that dehydrating the nails could've helped adhesion? I just got some of the dashing diva ones in last week so I'm really excited to try those:-) Let me know how the practice goes and when you get your minx kit! Are you going to any of the nail shows next year?
