Maiden flight of my new MULTIPLEX TWINJET with HAOYE 64mm EDF

Here is maiden flight of my new modified MULTIPLEX TWIN JET. My setup is HAOYE 64mm EDF with KB 28-47-08S 4900 kv (pink inrunner), ESC TURNIGY PLUSH 60A and TURNIGY 2S 3000 mAh 30C lipo (everything from www.hobbycity.com), servos are FUTABA 10g, RTF weight is 840 grams, flies smooth and very nice, so stable and fast flight. Flying time about 8 minutes with recharge about 2400 mAh. ENJOY

Good job! I love the sound of that fan. Sounds like a real jet! It is amazing the speed you are getting from 2S. It must be due to high pitch rotor blades. Was it difficult to balance the Haoye?

Not, really no...Haoye fan are very good for balance...Under the cone rotor are openings to which they can screw balancing screws. Thank after balancing you have really good and cheap EDF with very nice, I can say, turbine sound :)

That thing flys and sounds amazing, good speed for onlying being on a 2cell will you be trying in on a 3cell?

I will not try 3S because I tried measure Amps and with fresh RHINO 3S 2250 mAh 25C it was 66A, it is too much for ESC and for motor too...
