Hey Flyhere660, I love all of your videos, especially these flight videos. I have a question; was there onboard navigation equiptment for you to know the winds and active runways at the airfields you were enroute to (considering it was VFR flightplan), or did you retrieve the information beforehand like at the ramp at your origin airport. Thanks!

Astounding how expensive it is now. For comparison my private was $600 (including ground school and supplies) in 1969, the Cessna 150 was $10 per hour and the instructor was an extra $5 per hour. My commercial ticket was quite a bit more expensive but the GI bill picked up 90% of that. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed your cross country flight.

a 172 or 182? how much did it cost to get up to that point in lesson total lesson costs? im saving up and only have $175 now, not enough for even 2 lessons huh?

@FlyHere660 damn, you have a job im assuming? my parents wont let me get one because they feel vacations that we go on every year to the same place are more important. i want to get my license >_<
