My First Flight as a Private Pilot (Cross Country Flight Part1)

He guys what's up, so on January 21, 2012 i did my First Flight as a Private Pilot with a friend of mine who is a Pilot as well. We decided to do a Cross Country flight from X51--KTMB--X01. So i thought it was a good idea to film it for you guys and share it with you all. I hope you guys enjoy the video and if you can leave a comment and also give a like if you liked it. Hey Flyhere660, I love all of your videos, especially these flight videos. I have a question; was there onboard navigation equiptment for you to know the winds and active runways at the airfields you were enroute to (considering it was VFR flightplan), or did you retrieve the information beforehand like at the ramp at your origin airport. Astounding how expensive it is now. For comparison my private was $600 (including ground school and supplies) in 1969, the Cessna 150 was $10 per hour and the instructor was an extra $5 per hour. My commercial ticket was quite a bit more expensive but the GI bill picked up 90% of that. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed your cross country flight.
