  • Tina, quit trying to Shakabuku the World, you have not idea what you sound like, chanting is not singing, and shame on you for trying to gain attention for this.

  • SGI are nothing more than a criminal organistation. I love Tina, however, why did she become embroiled with this crowd?

  • I left SGI and returned my gohonzon 2 years ago. On my leaving, leaders quoted a phrase from Gosho, The Opening of the Eyes. 'For better or worse, to abandon lotus sutra is an act of hell' district people were calling me for about 6 months, and they thought I was going to fail because I left SGI. I posted my comments on SGI websites and youtube videos. They constantly removed my comments. I was really scared of this cult.

  • SGI members mindlessly quote Shakyamuni and Nichirens words to claim the True Buddhism and Law. Shakyamuni wrote NO sutras in his own handwriting. All sutras were compiled by word of mouth during several hundreds years after his death. It is fanatical to determine a specific sutra as the supreme and a specific individual as the true Buddha for the latter day. SGI self-righteousness and delusion are implemented by Soka Gakkai publications and its endorsers.

  • she is clearly SGI in this video because she explains chanting through God. All buddhists know there is no God. There can be no God. God is a mythical concept based on a creator personality. Creation can never occur and destruction can never occur (in a laboratory), so the concept of God is mythical. Tina Turner chants and gained benefit from the Gohonzon but now she is left holding the empty bag of the SGI which just uses the image of buddhism to further it's cult. She lost her way.

  • I hate Soka Gakkai because of the craziness and scariness in Japanese society and Japanese political scene as they have kept trying to control and change Japan in the way they like for over 40 years.

But, even I, who hates them, can admit she is such a great singer as I cannot see any diffrence between her Sūtra and Japanese monks' especially after 3:20 . Her accent and level of loudness is even perfect.

  • I have read SGI newspapers and noticed Ikeda constantly broadcasts his honorary degrees in there. It is common for wealthy religious leaders to receive degrees and awards, and yet the process and donation amount is off record. aNyway, when a spiritual leader brags about his awards on his newspapers front page, it is a warning sign. To make it worse, SGI members also brag about it. Soka Gakkai is a disgrace.

  • Ikeda invited Polly Toynbee to Japan, a granddaughter of Arnold Toynbee after his death. Polly expressed her honest impression on Ikeda in her journal. It exposes how Ikeda chums up to worlds figures. Some extracts as follows.

  • "I telephoned a few people round the world who had been visited by Ikeda....they felt they had been drawn into endorsing him. A silken web is easily woven, a photograph taken, a brief polite conversation published as if it were some important encounter. I talked to the Oxford University Press, my grandfather's publishers.......they had firmly turned down the Toynbee/Ikeda Dialogues, which were being heavily promoted by Ikeda after my grandfather's death..... "

  • "If my grandfather had not been so old or if he had met Ikeda in his own bizarre surroundings, he would not have lent himself to this process of endorsement. He was a frail man at the time, and by nature trusting. If our trip to Japan was intended to bind him yet more tightly to Ikeda, I hope the effect will have been the reverse."
