@borisgf I completely agree with you about Dave being the pioneer of thrash, but on Metallica I disagree. A lot of people would say Megadeth is a bunch of noise as well, but we both know that is incorrect. Do I think Megadeth is more melodic than Metallica, no. Kirk Hammett's solos are much more melodic than Daves. But Daves solos are much faster and complex, as well as his rift writing. I like Megadeth more than Metallica, but i'm not ignorant about the music. Not saying your ignorant btw.

@TheThrashKing you're right I think both bands are great in their own right... however for me Megadeth will always be superior where quality is concerned.... there is melody in their music listen to any Megadeth track and then listen to Metallica (noise). As Scott Ian from Anthrax said... watching Magadeth play is like watching a Jazz Band play metal.... without DAVE MUSTAINE THERE WOULDN'T BE TRASH.
