Wartime chaos results in their roles being reversed, with serious consequences.With his first feature film IF NOT US, WHO, award-winning documentary filmmaker Andres Veiel looks at a personal story behind the headlines of 1970s West Germany: the love triangle involving the left-wing terrorists Andreas Baader and Gudrun Ensslin, and Ensslin's husband Bernward Vesper. TALENT CAMPUS - Now a mainstay of the Berlinale, the Talent Campus provides a forum for 350 young filmmakers from around the world, and features workshops with cinema professionals such as Wim Wenders and Isabella Rossellini.




Armin Mueller-Stahl - The Berlinale is honoring this multi-faceted artist with a special lifetime achievement award.




Culinary Cinema - This section, combining food with film, is festival director Dieter Kosslick's favorite. One of this year's highlights is the documentary "Jiro Dreams of Sushi", about legendary sushi chef Jiro Ono.

Germany's Shooting Star of the Berlinale - Alexander FehlingALEXANDER FEHLING completed his studies at Berlin's Ernst Busch acting school in 2007. Soon after, Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino cast him in "Inglourious Basterds" alongside international stars such as Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Diane Kruger. In 2010, he played the title role in "Goethe!", a hit with German moviegoers.The EFP, European Film Promotion, has named him one of its Shooting Stars for the 2011 Berlinale. We asked the twenty-nine-year-old how it feels to be appearing in the Berlinale competition as Andreas Baader, while rehearsing for a stage production of Madame Bovary.
