I was trying to get some sleep last night and had tuned in to Pandora. This came on and my sleep vanished. But, hey, no regrets. Overwhelmed, overawed, and overcome with emotion!

@Krayneful also listen to the Crimson Tide soundtrack and Days of Thunder. I believe he did those as well. The best Days of Thunder score is called "Building the Car". Give it a listen, I promise you will llike it.

my brother explained why we love hans zimmer so much: no matter the emotion he writes (sinister, action, tragic, etc.) there is always some sense of hopefulness in it. And his music is never hard to listen to on first listen.

it is always argued, that in our time, we will never reach those big composers like mozart, bach, vivaldi and so on... but I can tell, that in 50 years hans zimmer will definately be among those great composers. he earned it. But great person first need to die before their work is sufficiently honoured

Constant suspense and slowly upbuilding tension. Very great big movie music.
