Two contrasting colors of Torino by Tahki Yarns/Tahki•Stacy Charles are used to make this unique I-cord-trimmed hat. Almost a hat within a hat, it is knit in the round from the top down. The color is changed in the brim, which is worked in a k3, p3 rib with the purl stitches subsequently bound off and the individual I-cords continued from the knit stitches. When the I-cords are long enough, they are tied together to form a tassled topknot, giving the hat a playful charm. Featured in Vogue Knitting Holiday 2008.
