I agree with Sonic. Oud is played in Turkey also but nobody can play better than Arabs, especially better than Naseer Shamma. no way...

Playing Oud with 1 hand has been well known by many Oud players for a while - just before Mr. Naseer Shamma brought it up to the public.

If you are a good Oud player; then just use a good Microphone and try it out.

Though I do respect Naseer Shamma as one of the best Oud players in the world.
