This video shows how to make powerful foot strokes which are essential to drumming of any kind.
When you play heel up at low speeds(which is where you will start.) the power is achieved through entire leg movement. When playing 16th notes(Constant double bass) at speeds over about 190 bpm the motion changes to ankle movement. The ankle movement stage is a very advanced stage of technique. It takes time and practice build up to that point. Speed is only achieved through lots of practice. Never play at a faster speed than you can make clean, even strokes at. Slow clean playing sounds better than fast sloppy playing.
Below are links to videos that show you how to play double bass patterns.(I'll post them as I find ones with good relevant info.)
Charlie Zeleny double bass basics: This is a great video that covers a few basic patterns and some fills. Charlie is a great drummer that plays in one of my favorite bands, Behold...The Arctopus. He is also a session drummer that can play in pretty much any style you can think of.

I'm not trying to be a troll or anything but your bass drum sounds like crap... that's why you use triggers ;)

@heckawesomefunnydude Well I was using the built in mic on the camera on this video so you can't even tell how it sounds from this.
