The more I watch this crap the more I am convinced that my vote doesn't count for shit. These guys are spouting the same crap theyre spouting now and nothing ever changes. Experts from both sides predict armageddon if the other gets elected. It's all garbage and all these guys care about is paying back the fat cats that got them elected. Our system is broken beyond repair.

Bush lost for many reasons. Bad economy that he did nothing to fix, rising crime rates throughout the country, broken campaign promiss of "no new taxes" (although that promiss for the sake of the country had to be broken, but still it none the less kept conservatives at home), and he ran a terrible campaign. I will say that GHWB was a lot better than his son and even better than Reagan.

GHWB and Clinton are friends but they collaborate on things like disaster relief that everyone agrees on. They still belong to rival political parties. However I recall Ford and Carter also became friends as former presidents.
