@012crazykid "Humpty Dumpty" was a large siege cannon used in the English Civil War 1642/49. In 1648 Colchester was in siege and it is thought the cannon was used at the church of St. Marys by the Wall. As you should realise Colchester is fairly flat but hills required an enormous number of men with horses to haul them. Any indecision by the General of whether the cannon should be positioned at the top of this hill or elsewhere should cause criticism from the troops song protesting.
