BTW, this is how he plays allll of his 6th string rooted bar chords. once you get em down you will never want to play open chords ever again

There are so many good tabs out for this song. Anyone who plays guitar and looks up to JM knows how he plays these chords a la Jimi Hendrix. C#m is played with thumb on 9th fret 6th string which also mutes the A string. Then you have your ring on the 11th of the D string followed by your index barring both the B and G strings. The high e often gets muted but you can let it ring out if you'd like. The A is played with thumb on 6th string 5th fret muting the A string and then a regular F shape.

OHHK. People keep saying the tabs are cm# A E. Thats obviously wrong. A and E are played on the first two frets. He never touches those frets. Hes playing barre chord variations, with his index finger barring the bottom two strings and then freestyling with his other three fingers. Example: at the 10 sec mark he's clearly playing a A major barre chord variation, and at 12 sec mark a C#m variation. If someone could just identify the BARRE chords hes playing, everone would stop asking.

Do all of you people not understand how to type in "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room Tab" on google?

The tabs can be found easily through google, but the chords are c#m (or c#m7) -> A -> E but John plays them different from the "normal" way.. He sort of wraps his thumb around the neck onto the base, and uses all the rest of his fingers, except his pinky, to form the rest of the chord. Hope this helps :)
