WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN BLACK LABEL AND GREEN LABEL
-
Imagining myself stranded in a remote island with 2 things in my hands: one hand is a hot young blond, the other is a bottle of Jack Daniels number 7. The hardest question is: which one should I enjoy first?

Jack daniels is the best.

No peat, no iodine, no unique taste, in other words, crap. This ofcoarse is just my humble opinion.
When youre not 16 anymore and want to go on to some proper whisky, try some Speyside Scotch, then go through Talisker and Bunnahabhain and perhaps Bowmore to the finer Islay Whiskies like Caol Ila and Bruicladdich. As soon as you start to like those, go for the ultimate whisky experience with the great 3, Ardbeg, Laphroaig and Lagavulin.
Those are all widely available throughout the world

I think Jack Daniels N 7 is superior to many blended scotch whiskies except the finest. I took a sip of Royal Crown and had to spit it out. GentleMan Jack is the best of the the 3 that JD offer as far as price vs. quality is concerned.

@MrVuHNguyen Gentleman Jack is quite popular with a couple of our editors...very smooth and a nice change of pace. Thanks for the comment.

There seems to be a lot of snobbery from people who like their Scotch whiskey's towards Old No.7. Don't get me wrong, I like my Johnnie Walker Green Label, and I like my Jura single malt, but I do like my American Jack Daniel's Old No.7 too. It tastes different, sure, but that doesn't make it a lesser drink in my opinion. Old No.7 on the rocks is one of my favourite drinks. But on another night, I'll reach for the Jura or JW.
Looking forward to trying some Gentleman Jack soon!

@guitardavept Got to agree. Gentleman Jack and JD Single Barrel add great variety to their lineup....pretty much a whisky for any taste.
