HP DV2 Notebook Gaming 4

This gameplay of Dirt 2 is running in HP DV2 1030us series. This notebook have an ATI HD 3410 with 512 mb dedicated memory. Configurations: 1024x600 , shaders: medium, the rest: low. FPS: 25-15.
I did an overclock with AMD GPU Clock Tool (GPU clock: 307 Mhz, Memory Clock: 283 Mhz, voltage: 1,1000V). The game experience was fantastic in this notebook. What do you think?

Hey btw, you did not overclock your graphics card.

You actualy underclocked it.

Default clocks are 450mhz GPU and 500mhz Memory.

overclock it to 550mhz Gpu and 603mhz memory.

This will help a WHOLE lot for you.

@ElboTheHedgehog You have the reason. I agree with you, but all chipsets's notebooks are underclocked and I just raise a little the factory's values. If you try to set up the defalt values, your computer will stop working and will see a blue screen.

help me out .. i tried to use Techpowerup GPU Clock Tool in my dv2 but it wasn't success yes .. i couldn't open this software... do u know why?

i use win 7 32 bit. anyway what OS do u use? thx

@corecruise00 hi, i think this program just runs on windows xp/ vista. Besides, the windows 7 has not good performace for games. it can be a crazy thing, but if you want performace, install windows vista. You also can improve your performace and battery life installing Right Mark CPU Clock Utility. this makes an undervolting in your the cpu (it will reduce the overheating). there are some tutorials on google (it's very simple to do, but go easy, read the instructions before, ok?). @pavy415 GPU tool shows incorrect values for clock speeds. Download CPU-z. That should give you correct values. Oh and, the clock speeds do not rise when the graphics card is idle. Run the stability test and check clock speeds in CPU-z

I use gpu tool to overclock the graphics card but I can not go higher than 333mhz for clock and 300 for memory if I go higher than that it says my display adapter has stopped working. I tried it on vista and windows 7 64 bit how do people get it to 600mhz? Help!!!!

I did overclokecked it to 550mhz gpu and 603mhz memory.

Worked like a charm on Just Cause 2.
