The song is featured on the "An Electric Storm" album. Truly a masterpiece.
This has to be one of my favorite groups that I have had the pleasure of listening to. Hense "listen." It is something you have to actually listen to, not hear.
It is why I did not add pictures to this brilliant group that was formed in 1969. Formed by David Vorhaus, Who discovered a group known as Unit Delta Plus. It included Delia Derbyshire (Who also created the Dr. Who theme) Zinovieff, and Brian Hodgson.
David Vorhaus had Delia and Brian create this magnificent album. It is truely something out of this world, and very ahead of it's time. It combines electronic sounds with psychedelia/ avant garde. It is one of the most unusual (and greatest) albums I have ever heard.
Delia Derbyshire alone should be considered one of the great pioneers of electronic music. She composed and produced scores, incidental pieces and themes for nearly 200 BBC Radio and BBC TV programs, and composed several electronic scores in the 1960s for BBCs Radiophonic Workshop. Read this article about her and why she deserved much more recognition than what was given to her before she sadly passed away in 2001.
