@binboyuk If you can go straight or right, it's much worse since he turned right, you conflict with traffic sooner. If he went straight he would've been out of the way in time, still not acceptable though.

@CyclingMikey Too much of a mouth full for me :-)

@busog97641 many pissed off cyclists tend to hit or bang on the side of a car to show their frustration to that car or van that has done something dangerous. but depends on the situation. (and cyclist)

@busog97641 And could the charges stand?

Sorry For The American Attitude Here: But what would happen if saaaay, [ mind you, this is hypothetical ] someone had a slight disregard for their front wheel, and just happened to, say, bump, or do a slight ramming into the side of someone like that, what would, or could happen to the cyclist [ mind you not fast enough to hurt ones-self, but, just to make-a-point ]? I mean, would, or could the driver press charges against the cyclist?

@binboyuk
Not that bad? When is running a red light "not that bad" ever? Note that this van was the 3rd driver to do so.

About time they put lights in here..

Yes. It has taken some of the 'fun' out of this junction but TBH the traffic flows well and the lights have not caused an impedance as I thought they might while they were being installed. Just a shame the some drivers haven't altered their approach and continue to blunder through the junction despite the colour of the lights.
