Fear of the undead? 17 seconds into the video I'm already pissed; I've been in many places in Romania, I am Romanian, never seen any concerns about the undead.....

Vlad Tepes is a national hero ,he was a good and honest man who saved the country from the Turks. This is the truth!! Respect pentru Vlad Tepes . A fost un roman adevarat!!!
-
Why is everyone defending Vlad?? This movie is not putting him down in any way, it says that he has NO relation to the ancient strigoi myths.

anyone who believes that vlad tepes was a vampire is the BIGGEST RETARD EVER.
he was one of the greatest rulers of romania.he killed only the evil in horrible ways, like thieves.he was never a god damn vampire
think about the punisher(fictional marvel character),he slaughters the evil but nobody calls him a vampire.that's kinda what tepes did, fought evil with evil to scare the bad guys.and tepes was REAL
stoker practically made a mockery of our ruler:a dude that sucks blood?how can u go wrong?

I don't pretend to be an expert about Romanian History, but I know this: he wasn't as terrible and heartless as he has been shown trough the last 500 years. He wasn't worst than other rulers of his time, both in West and Eastern Europe. And on some aspects, maybe he was even better than some of them. He was brutal in administrating justice and against his enemies, yes, but he fought for something he deeply believed in. Not to say, the Turks had done much worse...

I didn't know Bram Stoker looked so much like Sigmund Freud.

I'm a close and passionate scholar of Romanian history.
I never seen such a biased load of crap wrapped as documentary.
This is happening when Hollywood is your only source. It is profound offensive to perorate such lies especially over 500 years later.
drink blood ?!?! come on ...
for crying out loud, wheres the weapon of mass destruction he was hiding from Turks!!!
Comparing with other European counterparts of same century he was a saint.
piss off ya' wankers!
