I'm trying to figure out the steps of your method by myself...I want to shoot myself lol. The comms on this are very confusing to me for some reason, I just watch this video to prove to myself that it can be done.

where can i download this, replace the . with(dot) please i need this

I finally found a way to flip the last two edges. It's a few more moves than yours but it works. :)

this is going to take a LOT of messing around with to figure out.

Nice job, Micheal! Those commutators confused the crap out of me, but doing the edges last sure made the solve look cool =)

They are the same as the 3 cycle edge twirls from the pyraminx. The tricky part is flipping the last two edges.

Not exactly. This structure is different than the others you listed. A 2x2 cube is all corners, so a megaminx 2x2 would be all corners as well. If an imposiball were made into a dodecahedron shape, it would be the 2x2 megaminx.
So do you use the concept of a Megaminx solution on the Crystal?

Not really. I do the corners like on a megaminx, but I do the edges with 4-move commutators, which don't work on megaminx or 3x3x3. So that's a new skill to develop :)

Nice 2 edge flip Micheal.

It's pretty efficient in terms of moves, but I'm not sure if it would be fast to do on a real puzzle. We'll have to wait and see! :)

did you order a real one?

Yeah, but it'll be quite a while until it gets to me. I'll probably post a video of solving it when I get it though :)
