Juan Diego-Flores is a "tenore di grazia", probably the greatest of his type in well over a century. He is a specialist in the music of Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Gluck, Mozart, and probably could/will undertake some of the more lyrical French operas. In his particular repertoire, he is unchallenged. But what a rich repertoire he will have WITHOUT the traditional Verdi and Puccini roles. As a "tenore di grazia", his is a highly specialized and rare voice. A rare operatic bird indeed!
