I wish everyone would hear these numbers every day! I hear all the complaints about what immigrants cost, but what about this war? If we invested in central and latin America like we do in Iraq, we could have access to oil, and help mitigate (not solve)the immigration issue.

When I first watched this, I was like, "C'mon, there's no way we spend $296 million a day in Iraq." I honestly thought Senator Wofford had misspoke or was exaggerating. But then I did the math for myself— $530 billion/1870 days= $283 million. Every week is another $2 billion. Imagine what we could do with that kind of money.
