This is hilarious! I love it. Yarr-harr!

@GLEESON777 I never knew the government sets the price of DVDs
-
How much for that hooker?

See what the movie industry is involved with!! They just told on their own criminal activities! Each time you pay to see movies in the theater and buy DVDs you are supporting the actual criminal of the crimes presented in this anti-piracy video!

If the goverment didn't want us watching pirate dvds, they wouldn't make them so expensive.
-
Inviting crime?
Well I guess thats why I use torrent sites :)
-
dont buy pirate dvds, cut out the middleman and download them yourself
-
Yeah give me a 3 pounds of that afghan black , also throw in one them M-16's you got there.

"What the hell do you take me for?"
"A customer, sir."
Great quote, so true.
Shit, I'm gonna buy some DVD's from stalls in the market.
Damn if I'm gonna walk away with a dvd, some drugs, some guns and a woman, well why the fuck not invite crime into the area?

Of course we can't promise all markets are like that.

Haha the URL at the end of this piece of sillyness isn't live..it comes up as a bad hostname!
Who actually paid you to produce this advert, anyway?

Hmmm, that's embarrassing. I'm glad it's nothing to do with us... I couldn't possibly comment. I wouldn't be surprised if it made you question all sorts of things about the people who commissioned it...

Only after they've tortured it a bit.

I dare say that criminal gangs can and do produce Pirate DVDs, but a lot (I can't say
most as I haven't really got statistics on it) are just kids on their computers. Besides, who's to say that legitimate DVD's don't go in part toward drugs and prostitution at least? Not to mention warfare and terrorism (America, Israel?).

Don't confuse the selling of physical DVDs by street sellers & downloading. They're completely separate issues. P2P downloading denies revenue to the studios etc, but the organised selling of DVDs creates revenue for criminal gangs. I do have the stats: in 2006 UK games, video and music businesses lost £2.358 billion due to piracy. In 80% of raids carried out on pirates premises there was evidence of other criminal activity operating alongside piracy including drug trafficking, pornography etc.
