Too Good To Be True (JB love story) Ch.37

Gabby got up and looked around.
Two beds were empty Maddy and Brianas. Olivia, on the other hand, was sleeping soft and sound.
The morning was so quiet and peaceful; the only sound you could hear were the light chirps of the island birds, and the sun was warmly shining through the gaps in the curtains. It seemed like the perfect morning But still, Gabby knew something was not right. She didnt know what, but she could feel that something had happened something she wasnt going to like.
She crawled out of her bed, slipped her slippers on, and checked the time; 8:00am. She then opened the door, stood on the porch looking at the view, and thought. She thought about what to do for the morning. There was not much to do on a morning like this. After awhile, she went back inside, got changed, and headed for the main house.

"We better head back," Kevin said, "Its probably about time for breakfast,"
He and Briana had been surfing for almost 2 hours now, and had watched the sun rise as well.
"Oh really?" Briana asked. "So soon? It only seems like a few minutes,"
"Time flies when youre having fun," He grinned.
"I hate time," Briana smiled back.
Kevin laughed and kissed her on the forehead. "Me too,"
With that, they grabbed their towels, and started walking toward the main house.

"Hey dude, wake up," Joe said, shaking Nick. "Dude!"
"PEANUT BUTTER!" Nick yelled as he jolted awake. He slowly looked around. "Oh, morning Joe," he said, exhaling slowly. "Dude you are never going to believe me," he continued. "I just had this nightmare, where this huge peanut butter sandwich was chasing me,"
Joe looked confused. "Why was it chasing you?"
"Ok, so, there was a cheese sandwich and a peanut butter sandwich in front of me," Nick explained. "And every day, Id choose the peanut butter, but actually I always wanted the cheese." He continued, "And one day, when I finally chose the cheese, the peanut butter sandwich got mad at me, grew into like, what, 20feet, and started chasing me!" He shuddered. "Wow, that was scary,"
"That's weird," Joe said. It's not like you to have a nightmare about sandwiches... That usually happens to me," he shrugged.
Nick grabbed his brother's shoulders. "Thank you for waking me,"
"Well you seemed to be frightened by something in your dreams," Joe said. Then after pausing for a while, he added, "Do you think this has anything to do with you and Maddy yesterday?"
"WHAT!?" Nick was surprised. "How do you know about that?"
"The great Joe knows all," Joe answered. "I woke up when you shut the door after you went out, and followed you," he continued. "Then whadya know, you find your brother kissing a girl who's not his girlfriend."
"That was just..."
"Way to go!" Joe cut him off.
"What?" Nick was confused.
"Im not in on the whole kissing-another-girl thing, but this means that you finally admit you like Maddy!" Joe explained. "FINALLY!"
Nick just sat there on his bed, with his mouth hanging open.
"And then there's the dream," Joe said, "I guess you're afraid that if you chose Maddy, the cheese sandwich, Gabby, the peanut butter sandwich, will hunt you down. Am I right?"
"Well, I wouldnt say 'hunt me down', but..." Nick shrugged.
"Oh please, the bloody thing was 20feet tall!" Joe said, cutting Nick off again. "Anyway, think about this whole thing. For now, we have to go get breakfast."
Joe went off to get changed, while Nick just sat there.
After awhile, he too got out of bed, got changed, and the two of them headed over for the main house.
