In Your Hands-A Jonas Brothers Story-Chapter 4

(Hayden's Point of View)
When Emily and I got back to her house from the radio station, we refrained from telling her mom that we thought it was Joe Jonas's phone that we had. If she knew she would probably confiscate the phone from Emily, in fear that she would investiage every single inch of it (too late for that, though). She would also demand that we return the phone since we knew who it belonged to.

But we're not one hundred percent sure it belongs to Joe. It's just that he has personal pictures of himself and his family, a calendar with his schedule on it, and a contact list with contact names like Nick, Kevin, and Mandy. They are common names, but the convience of them appearing on this phone is one that we must not overlook.

Everything about the phone is so...Joeish.

It's currently one A.M. and I'm sitting in Emily's room completing our sleepover ritual where one of us (usually Emily) sneaks down to the kitcen and grabs the box of pizza that we ordered earlier that night and brings it back to her room. We then munch on the cold pizza, seeing as we haven't eaten anything in the last seven hours, and we're starving.

It was dead silent in Emily's house, so when the Star Wars theme song began to play out of nowhere, we each receieved minor heart attacks. In hopes of not waking up Emily's mom, we searched her room for the source of the noise. I came upon the pillow, under which I had hidden Joe's iPhone.

The Star Wars theme song was coming from his iPhone. The screen had become brigher and I could read the Caller ID--Nick.

"OH MY GOD!" Emily exclaimed, "Answer it!"

Unsure of what I was going to hear, I pushed Accept and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hi. Who is this?" asked the voice on the other side of the phone. It was a teenage boy. The voice sounded familiar, but I wasn't sure.

"Hayden...um, I found thsi phone outside the radio station where the Jonsa Brothers performed last night."

"You did? Where was it?" asked mysterious phone guy.

"On the ground. I think it fell out of the owner's pocket."

"When I tripped, it must have fallen out!" exclaimed the mysterious phone guy. It sounded like he was talking to himself, though, prodding me to ask him "Excuse me?"

"Oh. I just realized that when I tripped when I was walking to the tour bus, my iPhone must have fallen out of my pocket."

Mysterious phone guy has an iPhone similar to Joe Jonas's iPhone. Mysterious phone guy tripped on his way to his TOUR BUS. Mysterious phone guy sounds like Joe Jonas an awful lot.

Emily could hear what was being said on the phone, because she had hear ear pressed up against the phone next to mine. She gasped and started jumping up and down.

"What was that?" asked mysterious phone guy.

"It's just my friend freaking out."

"About what?"

"Oh, she thinks this iPhone belongs to Joe Jonas, so she thinks I'm talking to him."

I heard mysterious phone guy laugh a bit.

"You are," stated the not-so-mysterious-anymore phone guy.
