These dolphins, including Tonka (pilot whale), were rescued from the wild.. Most of them were caught in fishing nets.. Subic Bay Marine Exploratorium took them in, rehabilitated them, and trained them.. These dolphins were saved and now the bond between them and their trainers is incomparable. They base their training off trust meaning no physical action is taken if they don't obey their trainers... Unlike Sea World these animals live in their natural environment as opposed to glass tanks... Th

@rusminfelmar I`m sure they are cute , but they are meant to be in the wild and not in water tanks .. they are meant to live free instead of entertaining humans!

what school is wacthing that?

The most of these dolphins are from the Taiji drive hunt, how cruel, dolphins belong into the ocean!!!!
-
btw seashepherd cove guardians are there at Taiji cove keeping vigil all season-round for yrs now. with video coverage, net cutting attempts (to the local fishermen's dismay, so security was tightened) and some from w/ Ric O'Barry's volunteers flying over there getting undercover footage. IMO, that makes them very reliable sources, right? Pretty ignorant there buddy.
Oh and the US trainers who were picking out the dolphins for their show? weren't too happy when they saw the team's cameras.

@powerrangers w/ an r : yeah, so on the morning of the other day Oct 26, 2010 the Cove Guardians at Taiji c/o Seashepherd updated us that the trainers have started to position to choose their dolphins for their aquarium show trade from the new pods of dolphins that were driven in. Just a few hours later though, we got a new update. Sadly, all 52 bottlenose and 7 risso dolphins were all slaughtered. Oh well, so much for reliability and pretension. Whheeeeee!
