Swimming Piggy

Both pigs have since passed, Adonis at 6 and Adonia at 7 years of age, RIP my lil sweeties :(

Please no comments about how cruel you think this is, they get a bath once or twice a month and are carefully monitored, after their bath they are huddled up in a nice warm towel until they are fully dry before returning to their cages.

Yes, you can bath your guinea pig ! So no one please say otherwise, it keeps their bottoms clean and gets any poop or bacteria off of them.


Adonis is a peruvian/sleek coat
Adonia is a abyssinian/sleek coat

Both are housed seprately until Adonis gets nuetered, but cages are side by side :)

Thank you for any kind comments, and yes pigs can and should be bathed, they are messy lil things, please do your researching before trying to make rude comments :) I love my piggies and would do anything to keep them all healthy and happy, I never anticipated this lil clip to snowball and have people argue over something so silly.

I've also put the water in first, just so it covers there lil feeties then put them in, they don't like the sound of the tap when it's on.

Plus, just because a guinea pig poops, doesn't mean they're scared. They poop a lot. It's only natural.

as long as the water isn't too deep, they're fine. you need to put them in water sometimes because otherwise they start to stink after a while

I thought it was cute, can't see why people would freak out. Looks like Adonis was having a blast. We probably should give our guinea pig a bath before long, she's probably grown enough now.
