This is one of the best openings to a musical ever made and practically unknown! It was shot on the backlot at Warner Brothers masquerading as Miami. It was shot in pieces but I believe the vocal was done as a continuous recording in the studio (which, gven the marathon nature of the song, itself is amazing). Few singers could lip-synch as well as she could; she is flawless. Plus she always benefitted from her athletic grace. And the figure!
I remember it, 1955. Everybody in Brazil loved Doris Day.
